The New East Side Nursing Home is a modern skilled nursing facility, located between Delancey Street and Grand Street, at the foot of the Williamsburg Bridge. It was founded more than half a century ago.

Today, the home serves a broad and diverse clientele of men and women, but with that same commitment of care and compassion which started more than 50 years ago. The New East Side Nursing Home provides 24 hour 7 days a week skilled care with total dedication to all its residents. Its modern and immaculately clean building offers the most conducive environment for the elderly men and women who call our Home their home.

The Atmosphere

The administration of the Home takes a great deal of pride in creating a warm and home-like atmosphere for its residents. In addition, it seeds to continue the traditions and customs which have been part of the residents’ lives for so many years. The Home maintains a strictly Glatt Kosher kitchen and observes the Jewish Sabbath and all holidays. All residents enjoy a full slate of activities including arts and crafts, music, games, current events, lectures and movies. Regardless of one’s background, they will find activities made for them in a warm and pleasant environment which is very much akin to a familial surrounding.

*Due to demographics, clientele has been extended to all ethnicity, but the Home is still a Glatt Kosher Home.

Our Facility

A modern state-of-the-art facility four story building. The main floor consists of the reception area, administrative offices and a beautiful house of worship. In the three floors above are the residents rooms, which consist primarily bright and airy climate controlled rooms. The modern kitchen facilities and dining hall are located downstairs.
